Billing information for insured, self insured, Workers' Compensation and DVA patients.
Epping Private Hospital has contracts with the major health funds and will check with your health insurance on your behalf prior to your admission with us. Any excess payable under your health insurance policy is to be paid on admission. Any additional costs incurred during your stay, such as pharmacy costs will need to be paid at the time of discharge.
Repatriation (DVA) Patients
Epping Private Hospital will lodge a claim with the Department of Veterans Affairs on your behalf. Any additional costs not covered by DVA and incurred during your stay are payable on discharge.
WorkCover and Third Party (TAC) Patients
Epping Private is a contracted hospital with TAC, however unless prior approval for admission has been confirmed in writing by WorkCover or TAC, payment in full will be required on the day of admission.
Self Insured/Uninsured Patients
You will be provided with an estimate of the cost of your procedure prior to admission. Full payment will be required on day of admission.
Please note that our fees do not include your surgeon or anaesthetist fees. Please contact them directly to discuss their fees and charges.
After you leave hospital, you may receive bills for other charges incurred during your stay that are not the responsibility of the hospital. They are therefore charged separately, and may include fees relating to:

We accept cash, bank cheque, Mastercard, Visa or EFTPOS. Please note that all credit card transactions will incur a 1.5% surcharge.
